What gift should I give my mom for her 50th birthday?

She's really hard to please because she always says "I don't want or need anything" but she does. : Choosing a perfume or clothes for her is a no go, she's not very girly and the perfume could be tricky to choose (scent-wise).

I wanted to buy her a trip, a coupon for some activity day/night or something like that at first but she's so introverted, she prefers to stay at home as much as she can. She's got a new phone recently. She also has her own laptop.

I seriously hate gift shopping.

I'm out of ideas. :(

Forget material things and help her in the garden on a nice day if she like to garden, or she can’t turn down tickets already paid for to a concert or show or musical.. buy two so you can go with her and spend quality time together.. cook her dinner or dessert, buy her flowers and chocolate. Maybe the zoo or park.. a walk on the beach and have a picnic.. take pictures and frame the best one with a frame you decorated by scratch.. so much more sentimental.

Spending time with you would probably be her choice. Take her out to her favorite restaurant, just the two of you, for example.
