Is it appropriate to go to a restaurant with shopping bags?

I see nothing wrong with that. And people who can afford upscale restaurants tend to shop a lot, so it fits.

Yeah, people do it all the time at the mall. Now if you leave put everything in your vehicle and then process to take everything out at a completely different restaurant, then that may be a little iffy

if you are shopping at an upscale mall with upscale restaurants, i think it’s expected to see. but normally you would bring those Extracurricular activities to the restaurant
