Very little anymore, I used to to buy expensive suits, I was expected to look my best for clients.
As a network engineer I was told there were few people of my capabilities who they could send to talk to clients. I would up being the guy corporate would send to meetings with high lvl clients so i would buy $800 suits to look the part.
Now I just wear comfortable clothes, jeans , t shirts , cargo shorts etc.
The funny thing is I dressed better when I was poor climbing the corporate ladder then I do now that I have money.

I can look like this guy by spending 250-500 EUR whereas he spent several thousands on each piece alone.
The tricky part is finding merchants selling unconventional items. The highest consumer demands are on plain shirts and regular jeans.
For a winter jacket, I usually buy a cheaper product or one out of season and on sale, so the price is usually $200 but I will wear it for at least 8 or 12 years before I get rid of it and might wear it for 20 years or more.
Like maybe $200 a year for both of us combined? Mostly what we buy is either work clothes or shirts from places we go.

Firstly for Preface: I am 6'3 and even at 30, magnificent. I spend quite a bit on Clothes, however, I spend nothing-40.00 on Drinks. I eat out but not a Junkie foodie about. I have my weaknesses and modelling from 12-25 GIVES me an out. No, it does not BUT that's my FIX. Now, I'm not poor. It's so bad that I can be on Beacon Street, I can be "in global other areas" and damn. I'll dress up a girl right-there because I saw it and her. A red-head (pure with red roots turning brown blonde) that was fun Day... "Couldn't convince I'm marrying material." Graciousness from a man is Feared.
It's one of those things-1800.00 Alligator belt no problem. I have had that belt since 17..30-32 waist, 46 shoulder that loook 40-42 with my length in some shoots. Too hot man/Too Insecure women. You do not want to be hot.I spend fck all honestly ! But I still have some nice stuff , I've never been a " brand " guy , as I, ve spent 1/2 of my life marketing brands , so I absolutely know its all bullshit. People say " you get what you pay for " , never has there been a bigger untruth - NO YOU CERTAINLY DO NOT. If its expensive then I'm no where near it , its all marketing hype.
I only occasionally buy clothes when I really need them either when they rip or I grow out of them. I'll only buy a few pieces of clothes that are simple and dark. I don't wear designer or bright clothing. In fact I actually dislike spending money on myself.
Probably less than a hundred dollars a year. Maybe half that. I've accumulated clothes for decades and have a lot of them. I don't really have any need to buy them on a regular basis. But even in the past I didn't spend much on clothes. There is no need to.
Overall, not much. I just buy decent clothes and wear them until they are threadbare. lol Mostly because I dislike needless consumerism and clutter, and I also hate shopping with a passion. lol
I usually buy something well made and it lasts for many years. I still have clothes I wore before I got married. As long as I don't get fat I might never have to buy anymore clothes for the rest of my life.
I’m super cheap but I got good eyes on deals but good quality clothes.
I can easily spend $100 dollars at ross but I'm not a brand person so I don't buy expensive clothes. I buy comfotable
Not that much. I'm still wearing stuff from 10 years ago because it looks fine and still fits. I do want some new stuff though currently.
Last thing I bought was a body warmer about £50 I don't spend loads on clothing as I have loads of clothes, I can't wear all what I have in my lifetime so what's the point buying more?
If it's over $30 per item, the occasion had better be pretty serious.
In Florida and being retired not much shorts tee shirt and tennis shoes I don't even own a pair of dress shoes maybe a hundred a year I make up for it on fishing gear
Hmm at my age now barely lol like 400$ every three months. If my shoes get scuffed I buy new ones but I don't collect shoes I just throw the others out.
I barely spend money on any, but when I do about $115
Less than $100 a year. Most of my cost is in a pair of shoes every two years or so
I don't keep track but I'd guess 500-1000 a year on average.
Depends on what buy if it shoes good price they seem to last longer.
