Depends, I like to think of the clothing I buy as little investments.. (they’re not investments) but in the sense that I aim for them to last a long time and I like mostly basics, that’s usually been my style, surrounded by nice basics. With that said.. I will go to the thrift usually and there it varies a lot, but usually about $5-$15 on a top or jeans. But I love love cardigans and jackets and I like the nice ones because those are the things that level up the basics so I don’t mind spending a bit, but they will last for a long long time. My current favorite is my long puffer jacket from uniqlo (puffers last a long time).. it cost a little more than $100 I think, but i saved up for it. 😊

I usually look for a good deal - clothes that are on sale.

I like to go to expensive department stores and head out for the Sale and Clearance racks. Good quality clothes at a satisfying price.

When I find what I like and it's on sale, I figure I am buying great stuff but it really that I am not paying for their profit Like I am getting my clothes at the wholesale price.

So it's hard to answer your question. Suffice it to say that I don't spend a lot on my clothes, but I can buy more clothes by shopping the sales.

Starting from 500 inr for single piece of clothing to 2000 inr for a whole outfit or set (especially traditional indian set).

But if it it a REALLY traditional indian set, something which is not printed and involves the work of humans then around 25,000 inr. It can be reach prices like 100,000 inr (which is worth it because of detailed hand designs and all) but I rarely buy that expensive clothes.

Usually expensive ethnic stuff have pure gold or silver wires used, even if not that then the design is soo detailed and intricate with importance also given to make it comfortable to wear that you can't just fake it. They are usually heavy too. You usually don't buy this kind of cloth online. Buying the right one takes a whole family and evening in clothing stores and it is heavy work. You can feel the texture of wires used for design and all. Many find it overwhelming but if it is not overwhelming, then no one wants it.

Nope that looks like a hard work, probably not best for mass production either, its probably more special that way anyways that it can't be mass produced like a random shirt

Nope, sometimes you have to order it months ago after a really detailed conversation with the tailor and it obviously ain't regular wear too. Every average Indian woman owns like 2 such full outfits, one is her wedding dress and another is a very intricate outfit to wear to wedding of loved ones which she most likely got for her engagement. Other sets are usually rented,
