Should I quit my job?

So I am starting to get really unhappy at my job. The customers are just plain out rude. So the one time the lady was at the self check out and looked fine so I thought she didn’t need help and she started cursing me at me calling me lazy and horrible service. I use to only ask people who look like if they needed help if they needed help. I changed my approach and started asking every customer while they were scanning their items which was fine up until today. I went up to this lady who was at the self check out and asked politely if she needed help and she gave me an attitude and said does it look like I need your help? After she was done she went to find me and was like what is your name and she said show me your badge. I didn’t need your help I would of asked. So I’m assuming she’s reporting me for simply doing my job. There’s been other experiences but I’m getting really unhappy with people. Should I quit this job?

I forgot to mention I use to work fast food for four years before this in pa and had only 2 people ever be mean. Here in Nevada in retail I had multiple people be rude to me and I been here a year even though I’m nice.

People are assholes especially in today’s world and the way things have been going with this country , So I don’t blame you for wanting to quit , If you will be alright financially then yes say fuck this and walk out , it’s usually better to line yourself up with a new job first before leaving one but it just depends on your living situation , cuz you don’t want to fuck yourself even more , So do what’s best for you don’t worry about the job considering you are replaceable and just a number to them so if you are constantly stressed then that is : not a good environment to work in , one thing I learned about jobs is there are assholes in pretty much every job just got to set your mind that you are only there for a paycheck and I try to keep my nose out of other people’s business as much as possible , less stressful that way , I go and do my job and go home when Friday comes I drink my face off and unwind from the shit week I had at work lol

The world has gotten too crowded - there are shitty people just everywhere.

We can't escape them. To get some other job thus will not make much difference.

If you are happy with your job (rather than customer), you should stay because bad people are everywhere, you shouldn't leave your job for old beef..
