It is still difficult to buy a PlayStation 5 nowadays?

I'm not a gamer but my wife is. Last Christmas she decided get the PlayStation 5 but had no luck finding it because it had to be ordered with months in advance.

Today I was at the mall, just strolled into the electronic shop for a new earphone and they had this stack of PlayStation 5s on sale. Bought one there on the spot brought it home and wife almost exploded. Called it a late Valentine's gift.

If she's happy I'm happy, but I'm wondering of I've been lucky or the console got more available now.

You got lucky... I wanted to start with all this, cause I never had any game stuff growing up and last year I was searching for a ps4, they don't exist and well ps5 is still not on the market... sometimes they get a few but they're sold out immediately and way too expensive to be honest...

most of the parts' supply problem was fixed towards the of the year 2022 so yes... right after the last Christmas and for all of the year 2023, it would be much easier to find the latest video game consoles

Same, but I heard it was still almost impossibile to find and yet I found it easily. Maybe it's a rumor to increase price...

Case in point they were out at 650, and in the end I paid some 100 more with all the extras they threw in.
