Is it to early for me to buy baby clothes when I find them on great deals if I’m wanting to have a baby with the next 3-4 years?

Hello! So I’m wanting to have a baby after college and I will be done really soon anywhere from 3-4 years. I’ve found some really great deals on bundles of babies clothes like 2 huge bags of clothes for $15 I have the storage space and would keep them in plastic Rubbermaid bins to keep them from elements and keep them inside my closet taking them out a few times a year to get air to them. I just want to save money whenever I have a baby and I really look forward to it and sometimes the thought of having a kid in the near future keeps me going. Is it bad I want to buy a few things of baby clothes already? Or is it ok to do?

Yes it is too early, however, setting up a separate Baby Fund is a good idea. A separate savings account for when the time comes as the process will require pre-planned finances. I like that you plan ahead. You should do well in life, career, and spouse area. Good luck !!

Thank you so much! I’m thinking about doing that I just need to get an idea of how much to save per month towards the baby or the percentage of how much to save. My college financial standing is wonderful and should almost have it paid off instantly. I started my own business about 2 years ago when I was 16 in order to have the money to buy a car and to pay for college! I’m also soon to pick up a part time job along side my business to have extra money coming in. Thank you for your kind words I am very appreciative to have a wonderful support system and I’m graduating high school being core complete so I go straight to my bachelors. Hoping to go into business management or Human Resources.

Part of the enjoyment is shopping for baby clothes after you're already pregnant expecting. Even though they're cheap, you didn't pick them and it's too soon.

Yes I have a partner. We are planning on a baby in the future. I have the room to store but I’d like to make sure that I’m not doing it too soon. My partner supports me and told me it’s ok to buy if it’s cheap but would like me to make sure I’m doing the right thing before I buy. The clothes would be easy to sale if I need to or donate. I also have children in the family who could fit them so they wouldn’t go to a complete waste.
