When you go to pick fruits with kids, how long are you gone?

Cause I don't think it would take more than a couple of hours or less than a full hour maybe. I told my friend about a farm where you can walk alpacas for a few kilometres at a rate of $75 a person and she told me her kids won't strong enough to walk a full hour yet so she would consider it when they were taller.

It took about an hour, mostly because summer in the south is pretty brutal, the humidity being a large factor there. I picked blueberries with my kids, my friend and her kid. We went first in case of snakes, let the girls go wild picking flowers and blueberries until they were tuckered out, it was fun.

You'd have better luck pitching an idea where say the kids could ride alpacas, horses or something similar. Kids love doing things like that, and parents love it when they can experience it. Maybe give them a call and ask if that's possible, it would still be a fun outing and y'all can pick fruit while the kids ride and munch some.

I used to take my kids apple picking. It would take a couple of hours before they got tired. Then we went out to lunch.

I think the only fruit picking I've done was apple picking when I was in kindergarten or first grade and we were gone for a while
