Is it ok to bring gifts home for everyone?

I’m going to the USA next year, to visit my long distance boyfriend. When I return to Australia, should I bring home American gifts for my two best friends and my family? I’m poor, so maybe I can get fridge magnets or shop at goodwill, or somewhere else with cheap stuff?

If you are going in 2024 just put some money aside each pay day so you have that little bit of extra spending money. Regarding the fridge magnet, I would stay away from these as a gift unless you know your friend likes fridge magnets.
