Is it okay to gift a grocery on Christmas?

Like laundry detergent, bleach, toothbrush, toothpaste, toilet paper, kitchen towel, lysol, sponge dish soap, soap, and other non perishable foods?

You have to be careful gifting things like that. While they might need it, that doesn't mean they want to receive it, especially as a "gift" from someone- they might take it as an insult. Yeah, humans can be stubborn creatures at times.

I would ask them what type of gifts they are looking for or want. Now obviously if they request it? Absolutely!

Or if you really want to help them, but are afraid they are too proud to accept help? Anonymously gift it. Leave it on their porch, or better still, since more grocery stores offer delivery now, see if they can deliver it on your behalf to them- and not say who it's from.

Lots of people are needy and don’t like to share it. I think it’s wonderful when people care. But also, even the needy have allergies and are allowwd their preferences. Maybe a gift card to a specific all purpose store would be nicer?
