Do non-American’s get Black Friday sales where they live?

I'm American and I never heard of Black Friday most of my life. That's a relatively recent thing.
I think most parts of the world have big days that the marketing people push sales. I teach English (ESL) part time on the side. We were just talking about this last week. People from five different countries said they have similar type things, but not necessarily the same name or same day. One of the older guys said the same as me, that it's gotten worse over the years.
It is fairly recent
Yes, it goes on for the whole weekend pretty much. We also get Boxing Day sales after Christmas. I’m in Canada.
I usually wait for online sales because I hate the crowds.
Yes we do.

Sort of, there are deals, but its more or less the entire November/December. And the Deals are no big deal for the most part, as there are deals all year round here and there.
We don't trample each other to death, so thats something.
There has been some tragedy in the past during a Black Friday. Now many sales are online. But the ones in the stores are truly amazing loss leaders which are well below cost so people get excited, especially those without much money. I went twice for an early morning store opening (6 am) with a lineup at about 5:15. It was a fun experience with some truly amazing prices which were well below cost. It was great fun and afterwards we went out for breakfast.
there is a version in Mexico, yes... same for the Cyber-Monday thing, as well
Thank god, no. Apart from some dealers that have to desperately copy anything American.
Nowadays, I think that anyone with Internet access would get those deals. I bought three things online today, and I did it while I was gaming and gagging at home.
I don't know about other countries, but yes there are Black Friday sales where I live.
In UK yes. Not sure how good the deals really are though
Not here.
But we have a large black market.
Not at all - you have to show your passport to qualify for Black Friday deals.
The original black Friday was when slave markets got rid of the slaves they couldn't sell all year.
That’s not correct. Here is the real story:

So, 1950s Philadelphia cops named it this as huge crowds flooded into the city for the Army-Navy game on this day. The police couldn’t take the day off, had to work overtime and had to deal with issues of large crowds. In the late 1980s marketers changed it to what we know today.
I heard they do
