Wants me to stop cursing?

so we were eating lunch and this guy said something rude and I was like you f*****g a*****e and my crush told me not to talk like that. and his friend came to the rescue and was like he doesn't like people cursing, so what does this mean? why would you tell a girl this?

I don't know because I'd not ever tell a girl that if she had said that to someone that was rude to her. I think whoever you said that to had it coming and what you said wasn't all that bad. I'm sure it got the point across which was important. Your crush or his friend probably didn't understand the situation like you did and he had no right to come up and correct you. I think he said that because he thought your crush might get mad at you for cussing so he intercepted. Next time your crush or his friend tells you to stop talking like you are you need to tell them to calm down because they don't really know how you feel about that person or situation. Meantime, if your crush says anything to you about that incident, tell him sometimes a girl has to handle a situation herself in her own way, and in that case that guy had it coming and hope he learned his lesson. You probably could have told him to f**k off to!.

Sometimes guys substitute cursing for meanness. So he might think your becoming mean. Its an association thing. The cursing by itself is not realy the problem as much as what its associated with. If you are cool and nice to him then the cursing will become less of an issue. He won't care if you curse if he thinks you will still cuddle and make him hot choclate and stuff. Lol its almost what I think girls have a problem with guys watching football and throwing there socks around. Its not just the football and socks its they thinl it means we are lazy and will ignore them by itself its less of an issue. Your lucky your not a guy. When we curse women give us a whole lecture. When you curse all you get is stop that. Lol

It would be one thing if you said something slightly less offensive, but the "f bomb" is one of the worst words to say in company of people you think highly of. Seeing your age, it's no surprise. The younger the kid, the cooler they think cursing is. I work with junior highers and they throw around the worst language. It's terrible. Guys want girls that can be one of the boys, but not neccessarily TALK like one of them. If you want this guy, clean up your language. it's very unbecoming.

Some people just don't like to hear cursing at all. It's offensive to them, especially using the f bomb. That's one of the worse. I'm married to a Soldier, so that's pretty much all I hear when the guys are all over hanging out, but they all absolutely hate it when girls do it. It just seems very unladylike to them. Hypocritical, but I understand.

His friend said he didn't like cursing, so there's no overwhelming reason to assume it only has something to do with girls. He just might not like it. It probably offends him.
