What should I prioritise?

I’ll have $1,216 to spare. I have one friend’s wedding to buy and post gifts for, my fiancé’s 5 relatives’ birthdays to shop and post for, shipping some get well gifts to my friend, who’s been really sick in hospital, my Aunt’s birthday to ship a gift to and getting some Christmas shopping done for my fiancé and our families while the weather is cold, so I can bring them to the USA in winter. Should I just do it all in one go, or tackle half of it at a time?

Hmm that's a lot to tackle with only $1200! Here's what I would recommend prioritizing:

- Your friend in the hospital - make sure to send those get well gifts asap so they receive them while recovering. Their health is the most important.

- The wedding gift - you want that to arrive on time as well so the bride/groom can enjoy it for their big day.

- Your fiancé's relatives' birthdays - space those out over the next few months so you're not spending too much at once. Pick a few you can afford to ship gifts for now.

- Christmas shopping - focus on gifts for your fiancé and immediate family members. You have time so you can tackle extended family later or do small gifts.

- Your Aunt's birthday - see if there's a less expensive local gift you could give that would still arrive on time. Or wait till you have more funds.
