For anyone who shops on eBay... you will no longer be able to use your American Express card.

I've bought and sold stuff on eBay. It's a GREAT place to sell used gymnastics gear. whether its warm-up, covers, practice leotards, or competition leotards, which can get really expensive. Some things are just so in demand, especially at the beginning of the season, the only place TO get some things is used on eBay, because everywhere else is sold out. My dad uses it for rare auto parts. (there are lots of other places that are way better for classic exotic car parts, but he's always on, just shopping. I know he uses his Amex, but he other cards, I doubt it'll be a problem. It'll be a much bigger issue for Amex than it'll be for the cardholders! They need to reduce their fees, or they'll disappear... Hello, Amex? You remember the biggest retailer in the world, Sears? Yeah, get your shit together, or you too will go the way of Sears, Burdine's, and all the Walgreens in San Francisco!

Don't use American express because it's got the word American in it. I use Welsh BE THERE NOW IN A MINUTE card. It's nearly as good as the Scottish THE CHEQUES IN THE POST HONEST card.

Well most people shop on eBay at home I think American Express was for out on the go that's why they said don't leave home without it so kind of makes sense 🤣🤣🤣

Not surprising as American Express has always charged way more fees to the retailers that accept it for payment
