I get my Amazon items delivered to an Amazon locker near my house, and it's worked great for me.
In the past month however, every time I use the Amazon app to open the locker, it says, "Turn on Location Services," even though Location Services is already on.
I've tried everything I can think of to fix this, and nothing has worked. The people I talk to at Amazon have no idea how to fix this, most of the time they don't even understand what I'm asking. They keep saying they'll "escalate" it to a higher technical department, but then they never do.
Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this, and how to fix it?
The problem is clearly with the app, I don't even get to the point of connecting with the locker itself because it never gets past this "Turn on Location Services" step. I've tried it with other devices also, so I know it's not my phone.
I appreciate any help you might be able to provide.

Whoa dude that sounds super frustrating with the Amazon locker app! Here's a few things you could try:
- Uninstall and reinstall the app - sometimes resetting it clears weird glitches
- Make sure your phone's location settings have allowed location access for the app
- Update to the latest version of the app if one is available
- Try logging into the app using a different browser on your phone or a computer
- Contact Amazon support through Twitter, Facebook or their community forums. Sometimes social media support is more helpful than phone
- As a test, see if you can use a different locker location just to eliminate anything specific to that one machine
- Search online tech forums to see if others have had the same issue and how they fixed it
- Reset your phone's location/privacy settings completely if everything else fails
Hope some of those ideas help dude! Let me know if resetting things or reaching out on social doesn't work - might take some tweaking to figure it out. Annoying when tech stuff acts up for sure.
Go into the phone settings and then into the app settings, and then go to the app permissions and allow the app to use your phone's location services
I said, location services is on. The app keeps telling me to turn it on when it's already on.
Not location on the phone, in the Amazon app permissions. You have to show the Amazon app to access the phone's location info
Allow not show , in the Amazon app permissions
Yes thank you, that's the first thing it asks for, and that is on also.
did you try to update the app?
also is your phone running the latest software update?
@DreamCrescent Yes I have the latest update for my phone, I even went so far as to do a factory reset, but one thing I did wonder is whether my phone itself is too outdated for the app? It's a 2021 phone so I can't imagine that would be it, but it's the only thing I haven't tried changing and I'm not about to get a new phone just for that. (the firmware etc. is all up to date also). Thank you very much for your suggestions.
