Have you ever thought about buying something now and waiting until a year or two.. To get the possibility of doubling or more when you go to sell it?

I have a few Lego sets that have never been open because after a few months or little longer you can get your money back plus some. The set I found is $200. I have seen other sets about the same price point and they are going for double. Would you take the chance to possibly get more money than your investment or leave it be. The pictures are the exact one I am looking at. Thank you in advance for your view.

I doubt it works out very well often. Remember nothing is worth more that what someone will actually show the money and take it. Saying it is just words which are worth nothing.

I've done that. Buy stuff locally and sell nationally on ebay. Made some good money and often times people have no clue about the value of their "junk".

I have loved them from the first set. My Dad and my sister and I would be at my grandparents house. I was 7 years old... One day God called my dad home. Every time I build one I get some peace and travel down nostalgia lane. That's the reason this old man will still build them. It's like putting a model just with no glue.
