Do you think gift cards are a thoughtless gift?

Gift cards from your partner for mothers day, father's day, valentines day... etc

I think it’s great cause I have had people get me things I did not like and I’ve gotten things for others that they did not like. As adults, you should have a sense of what you like and what you don’t.

I agree. I go out of my way to buy things my SO likes. I've even gotten him several personalized things from etsy. And what do I get a visa gift card. It wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't put effort in either.
