Should I continue gift giving?

Or should I stop? My bestie couldn’t afford to get me a Christmas gift this year and I gave her a cheese platter, a chocolate pudding and a bottle of mid priced red wine. I’m not insulted. I know she just lacks the money. I just want to know if it’s ok to continue Christmas gift giving for her, or if it’s humiliating for her?

If he can't buy you something, don't buy him something too valuable. Otherwise, he might get upset and crushed under it.
