How would you react if you can still used your gift card from 2012?

Today I had a customer come some how the conversation started about how much life has changed after the pandemic. Later this customer realized she had a Forever 21 gift card from 2012 and wanted to see if she could still used it. I told her sure why not at the end money is money it's not like we're giving her free stuff cash was invested in that card. Yes the gift card actually works. So yes even if you have a 30 year old gift card from whatever store you can still using it gift cards never expires.

Gift cards used to have expiration dates. Companies used to like it when people would buy gift cards hoping they would not redeem them before the expiration date. That has been changed. There is no longer expiration date

You can I just used mine from Ralph Lauren it was ten years old found it in the back of my draw. I went in and used it with no problems
