What do you do with gift cards that you can't use?

My friend who I've known I was 7 year old sent me a gift card for Christmas but I can't use it since the closet dunkin donuts is in the next state over. Any ideas you guys? I'd heat it to go to waste.

Yes, you can give it away.

you can sell it online to others

in some cases, you can put it onto another account, like amazon, and use the $ that. that works for visa/mastercard.

gift it to a church.

As for the gift card although the closest Dunkin Donuts isn’t in your area you can always go to the website & visit the online shop & have something shipped to your house.
