What do you do with the cards people give/send to you?

very, extremely rare to give cards here... especially those ones you buy around

but I still have some of them from high-school days that were given to be me (and handmade) by girlfriends, friends and even girls who said they had a crush on me, lol

they're all in a box, and have been there for years and years now

for more than half of my life i have been 1 week away from homelessness. i have only owned what i could cary on my person if that week went away. im 41 and pretty wealthy but all i "own" is a box full of sentimentals (every single card i was ever given) a lap top computer, and several Hockey Jerseys.

I do throw away the majority, but there are a few from certain people and ones with lot of meaning that I definitely kept and will keep forever, even tho those persons aren't part of my life anymore

I keep them. I’m a very sentimental person 🤣. I’d keep a tissue from a first date or an old number from ages. I like to scrapbook 🤣

Save them and put them up.
The last one I got from my previous job, all my coworkers signed it wishing me well and saying they would miss me- I have it posted on the bulletin board in my new office 😊

Most I throw away after a couple days, but depending on who it was from I may keep it forever. I have some from my parents still from many years ago and I have some from former students (some of those cards I have had for 10 + years).

I used to keep them until I pulled out a tub of cards. That's when I realized that keeping them is just a waste of space. With technology now, no one sends cards anymore anyway.
