Nothing. I buy what I need. "Collecting" is a buying addiction that points to other psychological problems. Collectors are chasing the dopamine hit that comes with every new purchase or package that comes in the mail. But later they come down off that and feel depressed for wasting their money. They ride a roller coaster of highs and lows. That's never been my thing.
It varies. I go through phases that usually end when my wife tells me it’s too much. I get bored easily too. Currently it is knives. I have a huge set of the top of the line German kitchen knives. Another large set of excellent Japanese kitchen knives. A few self defense knives. Smaller ones for opening amazon boxes. I think I’m done though.
I collect old unique clocks. I also collect Longaberger baskets. My current dream is to get an old grandfather clock lol
Jewelry, especially the ones that come in matching sets.

I also have about 18-19 pieces of Anchor Hocking PresCut Glassware, the popular-priced pressed glass version of "cut glass".
