Has Wal Mart gone back to it's roots? ?

Fire Department Coffee, a small coffee company , says that Wal Mart has a program to support and promote American companies. Does this mean that they are returning to the polices it's founder Sam Walton used to adhere to. Years ago Wal Mart carried a lot of American made products. After his death, it seemed to change overnight into a Chinese hardware store.

Are they trying to get ahead of the impending tariffs on Chinese products or do they understand that a lot more people are looking for American made products as consumers want to Make America Great Again?

No, they aren't carrying very much if any merchandise made in America.
In fact I was just reading that Walmart is interested in selling merchandise from a lot of different countries.
This has changed the way we buy things (online only?) from Walmart and it's forcing the customer to deal directly with the 3rd party seller directly through email if there's any problem with your order whatsoever.
I received the wrong size dress which was the right color and style but I ordered the one that had sleeves and received received one that was sleeveles.
So I had to deal with the 3rd party seller directly to get my refund. Of course they aren't actually going to go through the trouble of taking the time and to do all the paperwork it takes to get your refund back into your bank account. They just forget about it. And I know this because I keep track of my refunds I am promised but there aren't any refunds on my bank statement- just the debit and a dress that I didn't order!!
So, when shopping online at that store watch if you are buying it from a company other than Walmart. You're taking a big chance ordering from the many different different countries you are actually buying from because you aren't actually buying it from Walmart! You are just using their website to purchase items that are coming from other countries and then if something goes wrong with your order, you will not be getting satisfaction from Walmart because it's all through email with the country you bought items from on Walmarts website.

Not a chance! In my opinion they no longer have any of the values of the original Walton family. Today it is higher prices, less choices, impossible customer service, and they will fuck you out of money.

@katiesmuff yes, but I would really like to see the old Walmart again. I hardly buy anything there anymore.

I feel the same way and I can't even remember the last time I was in there stores. I think it was just after they did all the store remodeling and reduced the grocery section by about half, then removed many of the name brand items and replaced with the walmart brand.

Can't possibly be serious that a multinational billion dollar company that is immensely profitable is going to do anything that would affect its shareholders significantly. It's PR for the rubes.
