1 moAnything that needs to get imported will surely go up in price soon. Transport by boat, or inside our country by truck, needs to factor in the cost of fuel. Makes you wonder why certain types of fruit don't get cultivated in our country.

Jelly beans. Studies show that the jelly bean industry has been negatively impacted by recent events and the cost to produce jelly beans has gone up approximately 28% over the physical year.

1 moBeyond gasoline, high inflation and supply chain disruptions have driven up prices for food (especially produce), electricity, and utilities. Transportation-intensive goods, including clothing, plastic products, and building materials, are rising due to increased shipping costs. Additionally, consumers are experiencing higher prices for auto and home insurance, as well as travel-related costs like car rentals.
Key items that have increased in price include:
Food & Groceries: Food prices have remained high or risen, particularly for items with high transport costs like fresh tomatoes, which are affected by soaring diesel fuel prices.
Energy & Utilities: Electricity, natural gas, and heating oil expenses have risen, with some consumers reporting a 30% increase.
Transportation and Travel: Diesel fuel for freight, as well as airline travel and rental cars, have seen significant increases.
Petroleum-Based Products: Items derived from oil, such as plastics (packaging, toys), nylon and polyester clothing, paints, and fertilizers, are experiencing increased costs.
Insurance: Auto and home insurance rates have experienced aggressive hikes, with premiums rising in high-risk areas.
Daily Expenses: Childcare costs have increased by over 30% since 2019, and entertainment services like concerts or sporting events have also seen price rises.12 Reply- 1 mo
I'm into wearing dresses and there expensive.
I'm bigender and I show my womanly side by wearing dresses.
1 moI was actually surprised at the supermarket last week. I bought the typical full cart of groceries that has been costing me around $250 for the last several months. This time, it was less than $190.
Yes, gas is more expensive here in the US, but still not as high as it was during COVID, and it's a lot cheaper than it is in other countries (Europe in particular), where the equivalent of $8-$10 per gallon is common.

It's more expensive elsewhere because it is taxed more elsewhere. It turns out that people keep buying 'gas' even when you jack up the price with a tax. It's called an efficient tax system.
The price of the oil barrel has always been linked to a snowball effect on every other consumable purchase anyone can make
Even services are impacted by it
Because no matter what the product is: if the electric bill increases to cover fuel cost or the gas prices for transportation goes up, the money will come from the clients buying the product or service10 Reply
1 moAbsolutely everything. Pick an item, pick a product, pick a service, it doesn't matter. Nothing of significance has gone down that I can think of, or even remain the same, except pencils and rubber bands. LOL

1 moPeople say everything because they hate paying but check the number! U. S. Ground Beef Prices FELL from $8.25 in December to $8.20 DESPITE the war! so dont just say 'everything is more expensive "

To

Despite war and fuel situation still not more but less!
00 Reply Energy. The cost of having lights on, heat, air conditioning, etc. The price has risen. Not more than expected based on the past year, but it's still higher without an increase in wages or SS. Also, unless you have it through your employer, healthcare insurance is far more expensive.
10 ReplyEverything, because it all has to be transported and that requires fuel and the cost of that fuel has increased, so the cost of transport has increased, so the delivered cost increases, so the price increases.

1 moWhen the Russia - Ukraine conflict started, gas (heating) prices rose by like 200% yet UK only got 5% of their gas from Russia. One big con obviously. Also I went to buy olive oil during this period and it rose by 100%. When I asked why, the guy said war in Ukraine. From what I remember olives don't come from Ukraine.

Unless you mean in "gun free Chicago" with strict gun laws where FOUR HUNDRED people were killed in 2025 "without trial" by crime shooting. Shot dead.

One more possibility those reaper assassinations of enemy military. Well i admit only 104 is less than Obama. The "Obama administration authorized over 500 drone strikes globally. 2,581 combatant deaths' so Obama achieved more. But
if you complain about no trial well Obama did many more "without trial".
