What store that's closed was your all-time fave?

Mine was Lechters Housewares, which used to have the BEST pie dishes and cookware ever. They shut down quite a while back, and I've never been able to find the same quality cookware again (at affordable prices).

I built a few electronic items from kits I purchased at HeathKits, but they went out of business several decades ago.

They had a color TV kit and a guy I worked with bought one and put it together. He said it was a good Tv.

They kinda curated a boutique type shop of different trends. They were little unique shops all over. Went bankrupt and all 400+ locations closed down.

We had one at the local mall. Loved the place. Don’t think I went without getting at least a top. They had such cool stuff.

Radio shack.. The original, not the one it mutated into. There are no stores like that any more.

Blockbuster video

Blockbuster was one of our shared experiences. Going to Blockbyster on a Saturday to look for a movie was a real treat, especially if you came across a list gem that you always wanted to see

@exitseven I enjoyed going there. I would rent all these wonderful movies and buy candy and then other times I would go there and I would rent video games excellence store very entertaining to get what I needed. remember on the videotapes be kind and rewind.
