I want to dress up as a murder victim for Halloween, but....

I want to dress up as a murdered girl, all pale and beaten up and maybe throat slit or choking bruises on neck. But with all the real murders going on, I feel like it would be disrespectful to make fun of the unfortunate ones. It's like "why would you want to be a murder victim?" But on the other hand, it's also so fun to do the makeup... and I don't have any other ideas or last-minute costumes. I'm supposed to be dressed for a video shooting tomorrow.

What are your thoughts on this (dressing up as a murder victim)?

I don't want to go as a zombie, or call myself a zombie, because it's just... too mainstream lol And, being a murder victim is more fun to do the makeup work with, because I'm into all that postmortem investigation of the body... and the bruises, where they're placed and the types, etc.. is interesting for me... instead of dressing up as a rotting corpse. I wouldn't have an issue with it. Someone will have a problem with what you dress up like no matter what costume you pick. Just wear what you want to. Since you are still moving around everyone would just assume you are a zombie anyway.

Lol I love criminal minds I think it'd be really interesting and challenging trying to mimic the effect with makeup. Go with what you want it sounds cool and different.

It's Halloween, that's the whole point of the holiday. America is too wimpy today (I want to say the P word but I don't think you can here) and everything has to be politically correct all the time now! I mean people are offended about everything from Christmas to the National Anthem. I say screw what other people think and just be what you want to be!
