Silly Songs We Love

There have been many myTakes and Questions on music recently. But I have not seen one yet on Silly Songs, so I thought now is the time. These songs were pretty much just nonsense, but they were fun and have lasted for decades.

Some of my favorite silly songs follow:

Now that I've pasted a few links I don't actually know what I've put here. But some are nonsense, some are just, nobody ever really realised that nobody knows what it's about. Or can tell.

Hey, sorry about the late reply, I just got back from camping out in the Grampians.

The second one was A Song About Ping Pong

I prefer this version of Witch Doctor myself, but that's probably just because it's the one I'm used to. It's sounds like the one played in Rugrats.

Yeah, it was great, I got to have a go at the nerve tester, not that I went out very far, my grandparents wouldn't let me. But that's okay, I'm not sure I would have let myself.
And I surprised myself with just how much energy I had, I was jumping from rock to rock and hanging as far over the edge of the cliff as I dared. Quite a view from up there.

My phone also has no memory left to spare after all the photos I took.

I definitely like ELO and Pink Floyd. Do you mean Queen, have not heard of Queens. Definitely like Queen. Anyway, they are good, but I don't know of any "Silly Songs" from them, which is what I am talking about in this Take.

Okay, cool. Somehow I like the oldies way more than what the music industry has become today.

So do I, but there are some recent groups that I do like. I love Enya and feel bad that they (she) are not putting any more songs out. But there are also many other recent songs that I like, plus I like certain music that is geared to certain instruments. Love bagpipes and marimbas!
