I can understand it being hard to picture when it comes to fights. That's why I watch the anime first before the manga if it's the type of have fights in them.

If they are normal life manga. Then they are easy to follow. Plus they go WAY more in depth with the stories. Like the anime for ao haru ride cuts out A LOT of detail to the story.

The industry is very competitive in Japan, it's very hard to get that position, director or producer, i think it's even more for a foreigner.

But i fully believe you can start a project in your country, and with the help of more people with the same passion and necessary talents, united for one project, who knows, even buid an animation company. Today, people are not totally dependent from television channels to buy them, so maybe you can make a living from it, from some other possible ways also.
