Lets talk about "needy".The word is so overused that is losing its meaning and is becoming an excuse to justify lack of basic respect in a relationship/ friendship

"Having needs and ask for mutual love, care and respect in a relationship is NOT NEEDY "
I see people that accuse others of being needy and people who blame themselves for being needy in situations that neediness has nothing to do about it
THE BLAMER
Will blame you for being needy in any occasion that isn't convenient for them.
Will use the word needy to invalidate your feelings. Will make it seem as giving emotionally and with actions in a relationship is wrong and unrealistic and whoever believes differently is delusional
Just walk away from those people, you will not change them
THE SCAPEGOAT
Do not apologize or feel bad for expecting someone to step up in a relationship. Love, care and respect are fundamental to build a healthy relationship are not neediness
Is not needy to text often. Is not needy to expect respect. Is not needy to expect to give and take

needy is having excessive expectations and an unrealistic view of what you think a situation and a person should be delivering back to you."
Expecting them to be available 24/7 is needy.Expecting them to have no other friends is needy. Expecting them to text you from work when they are busy/unable is needy. You get the point..
REMEMBER : EXPECTING RESPECT AND CARE IS NOT NEEDINESS!
