5 Reasons Why I Love Dogs

Hello welcome to my 2nd MyTake, I decided to brighten things up a bit, since my last one, about my life. Let's get started.

A Dog is the only animal on earth, that loves you, more than it loves itself.

1. They are the first to comfort you.

When you are feeling down or depressed, or angry, without a doubt, your fluffy companion will always come to comfort you, by either licking your face or cuddling you. Dogs will always have a way to cheer you up. During my Mothers death, I got comforted, by multiple amounts of dogs, because it is hardwired into them to know when someone is feeling upset or angry.

2. They are always the first to greet you, when you get home.

After a long day of school or work, your loyal companion will always be there either waiting at the door or gate. Over joyed and excited to see you, they will always give you a doggy cuddle, or sit on the couch while watching TV or a movie with you.

3. They will always protect you.

When you are sleeping or busy, dogs will always protect you no matter what, dogs are loyal and will always keep a look out to see if you are safe and protected. When you are away at work or school dogs will always make sure no body comes into your house stealing your important things. Dogs will commonly risk their lives to protect you.

4. They will always keep you in shape.

No matter the day, the time, the setting, dogs will always want to work. Dogs could walk for miles, days, months, years, Dog's will basically force you to get off your butt and go for a walk with them. Even if you're not a sporty person, dogs will still want their daily walk.

5. Dogs are truly mans best friend.

At the end of the day, Dogs make you happy, smile, laugh and love them more, lets face it everybody has to love dogs. I live on a farm and I have 8 dogs, I take them for walks 3 times every day, and they enjoy every moment of it. Honestly I have no idea what I would do without these fluffy companions. They got me through the tough times in life, and made it easier to cope. I hope y'all love dogs. What would we do without them??

I can't express how much I love dogs too. I love to see how super excited they get when they see you coming through the door.

I believe a person that doesn't like dogs is borderline demonic. How can you not like such a loyal and loving pet is beyond me.

My dog doesn't worry about the meaning of life. She may worry if she doesn't get her breakfast, but she doesn't sit around worrying about whether she will get fulfilled or liberated or enlightened. As long as she gets some food and a little affection, her life is fine.

If you don't own a dog, at least one, there is not necessarily anything wrong with you, but there may be something wrong with your life.

I think people are obsessed with their pets because pets don't speak. It's that simple. After you hang up the phone, you never hear a dog say, 'You're a liar, and you are making the same self-sabotaging mistakes that have kept you single for far too long.'

I've been in that angst of loneliness, where you're really alone in the universe, except for the dog.

Many who have spent a lifetime in it can tell us less of love than the child that lost a dog yesterday.

Dogs really don’t care if you're a five-star culinary artist, or if you can barely open a can of soup. Nope. They love you because you’re you. And they will pretty much eat up anything you give them (though if you’re part of the latter group, you’d probably be best sticking to quality dry and wet food from the pet store).

One look at that furry face when you go near the leash and you’re walking out the door (and let’s face it, with some dogs, it's running) for at least 30 minutes a day. It doesn’t even feel like exercise!

An older dog, meanwhile, is mellow, loyal, and loving -- they're like an old friend that has grown to adore you over the years. Yep, better than any Wii video game.

My cats are my dogs until i can have a dog too. They aren't the stereotype. They follow me around and always want attention and cuddles. And they are very sensitive to emotions. Cats are great if you treat them like you dont expect them to be rude cats hahah

My brother was a year old (he is 2 years elder to me) when my parents brought him a dog named Lucy. When he turned 3, Lucy died ( I don't know reason) which left mark on my brother's memories. Since then, we haven't adopted any dog

I am a cat and dog person. Such awesome animals. My dog and cat would compete for attention but i have caught them being friendly where my cat laid down on top of my dog, it was so cute. I wish I took a picture. I miss both so much right now.
