Some Small Irrelevant Details, Many Drug Users Share

It's not 100% accurate, but most of the times, drug users share such traits.

- They wear a cap, even during the night time

Guess this is giving them some ghetto vibe, or they just want to hide their facial features.

- They rarely wear sunglasses or glasses.

Even if the sunlight is strong, you will rarely see someone who's on drugs wearing them. Same goes for glasses. So you might think, someone who has a good vision, is more likely to end up doing drugs? Or maybe they might actually need to wear glasses, but they don't for their own reasons.

- They have a beard and a unibrow

Sure beards are considered trendy in our days...but most drug users have what you would call a "messy" beard. Usually it's coupled with a unibrow.

- They don't use an umbrella when it rains

They wear a hood, if in case they wear a hoodie...or if they don't, they just stay under the rain like that.

- They almost always carry a cup of coffee, or a bottle of water in their hand.

Do they feel sleepy and they drink some coffee to stay awake? Do they feel dehydrated and they carry a bottle of water because of it? Or they do it for stylistic purposes?

- They will ask you about the time

Is this a trick, to have some small talk with you? Or maybe they want to steal your mobile?

- They will ask you for a cigarette

Another way to initiate small talk I guess... but weren't they supposed to smoke other kind of cigarettes?

I think this doesn't apply to most of the cases at all. And most of them actually wear sunglasses to cover their eyes. Because at the end of the day, the eyes give them away.

And they almost never carry a cup of coffee or a bottle of water even if they would be tired or thirsty... That's not the thing they concentrate on. They don't take care of themselves like that.

The beard may be one thing, nut often it does not even grow on them properly and they might have a stubble, but the unibrows aren't anything most people even can grow... So no.
I only agreed on the part with the cap, and that too, is a little vague. Maybe more likely a hoodie (or those sunglasses indoors and at nighttime). Also these kind of pants are one thing that I see on many guys that look like drug users:

They wear brand-clothing, often sporty and baggy ones, because they want to look like they are training. But they actually do not.

None of the drug users I know do these things... they all have sense.

Today I was on the bus at 2-3 AM, and 3 drug users entered. I noticed that 2 of them were wearing a cap, so my theory is pretty accurate. Another example was, when I was on the train very early in the morning, and a guy with a cap and sunglasses asked me from where I took this phone... I asked him, if he was going to a certain station where drug trafficking is common. He looked at me and he said "Hey, do I look like a person who's into such things?"... and what I responded? "No, otherwise you'd not wear sunglasses."

So your theory is accurate just cause you saw 3 drug users wearing a hat

Not only today. I use to take walks at night, in areas which are pretty common spots for drug users. And yes, many of them wearing baseball caps (particularly). Also another common stylistic choices are, jeans and sandals or flip flops during the summer period.
