ScaryCool Theories: Infinite/Alternate Universes

I may be the odd one out here when I say I don't believe in them.

I accept science as a part of life so it's nothing along those lines, but my reasoning behind it is simply it not making sense. (Least not to me.)

If there are an infinite number of universes that would mean that theoretically there is a universe for every possibility. This actually goes hand and hand with the term 'alternate' universe because perhaps another me in an 'alternate universe' chose a different path. (Maybe he actually DOES believe in infinite/alternate universes lol) But the problem/answer to this is that it means in one universe someone would discover how to travel to other universes. And since an infinite amount of this being possible, the chances we would have experienced them visiting by now would've been pretty great. So that leads me to believe that either:

A.) We'll NEVER be able to travel to other universes

or

B.) An infinite amount of universes doesn't exist.

The second reason I believe this to be the case, it I've been thinking something a bit more dire. Instead of traveling to different universes, what if in one universe someone figured out how to END ALL universes? Sure you could argue that perhaps someone else learned how to stop them, but one would surely succeed if they had infinite chances. So again it leads me to believe that:

A.) There is no way to END ALL universes. (by our own means anyway.)

or

B.) Infinite universes don't exist.

I do know our universe is ever expanding, but the power is said to eventually go out so even this one universe alone is not infinite.

I'm definitely up for hearing people's thoughts on this and I'm not claiming this to be 100% doctrine, but for now this is what I believe.

You did. So much that I researched it. The multiverse theory is still in its infancy, and some conceptual problems remain to be resolved. Those problems you presented plus a whole lot more. Anthony Aguirre, Matt Johnson, Matt Kleban and others have pointed out that a collision of our expanding bubble with another bubble in the multiverse would produce an imprint in the cosmic background radiation—a round spot of higher or lower radiation intensity. A detection of such a spot with the predicted intensity profile would provide direct evidence for the existence of other bubble universes.

Another thing is we assume that they may have technology greater than ours. It might not be the case. Numerous events that made human life possible might never happen - same thing for evolution to produce an equally intelligent animal- whether terrestrial or extraterrestrial.

I'm glad it got you thinking. I believe their are other universes for sure and I know it is said that ours either has collided or will (I forget which one) with another, but I think maybe it's not as many as we may think. And yeah, always the possibility that we may be in fact the most intelligent life out there (Which wouldn't be saying much seeing as how humans can be at times lol)

And I agree, though I do believe there is a possibility for another dimensional plane. Not like heaven ruled by a God or qnf

What if there is another universe that DID end all universes except for one universe which is our own universe and it let us live on to wonder forever about other universes where another me chose to have eggs instead of cereal for breakfast today

An infinite number of universes do exist if you can travel to the 4th dimension. We're just not ready yet since we haven't evolved or developed the sense to perceive true logic. We have to prove that something can be false and true at the same time.

For example, solve this.

pick any number and let it be n
If it's even n/2
Then if it's odd 3n+1
repeat it to infinite.
Looking at the equation, using what we know about mathematics what can you expect the result to be? climbing? decreasing?

I don’t know if there are muliverses but there might be different dimensions. For example, if there are different dimensions that means in one or more of those dimensions, the axis powers won WWII, JFK lived longer etc.
