Of course we can't judge a person based on how they look, their type of friends, even their actions, or anything that appears to us. But a person is completely defined by their true intentions, here's why! Because intentions are formed by three factors that simply cause our being; thinking, feeling and the mind. Thinking and feeling lead to each other, and the mind is what filters, guides and controls both of them. So that's why our intentions are actually who we truly are.
Our intentions lead to our actions, which also define us on a shallower level, because of course there are factors other than intentions that influence our actions, like other people's interference and our own limited abilities and supplies. But still our intentions are the major influence on our actions.
When it comes to intentions as the basic psychological factor that defines our being, there's something very important we should acknowledge, which is the sub-consciousness. I've mentioned before that there are three factors that form our intentions, but actually they can be only two; thinking and feeling. Because intentions can be sub-consciously developed, which means that our mind didn't influence them.
Our sub-conscious intentions are exactly what prevents us from achieving our full potentials and being the best versions of ourselves. A physiotherapist who's massaging a client to heal a certain muscle while thinking of his child with this weird nanny, won't do the same job as a physiotherapist who's putting all his focus on untangling those muscle tissues to actually relax the muscles. And the difference between the two is their intentions; one of them wants to get the job done as fast as possible to get back to his child and fire the nanny, while the other's intention is to actually heal the patient. Of course my example isn't the most accurate, but it has a clear point.
The point of this whole article is to illustrate how critical intentions are, and to motivate me and you to use our willpower to prevent the intentions that lessens our positive influence to the world and develop the intentions that drives us to achieving our best potentials. To prove that minding our intentions is the way to change and success.
Hope that was as clear as I intended, thanks for your attentive reading!

I absolutely judge a person on their actions. The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
