My life:A summary

Hey G@GERs,

I’ve been challenged by two users to present a small glimpse into my life.

My life:A summary

On a cold winter’s night, January 11th, 1991 at four and eight minutes, I was born at just one pound seven ounces to Rachel and Brian at Springfield General Hospital. When the doctor said I was a boy, my dad had enthusiastically exclaimed that I would be named after him. I was two months early and had to be hooked up to a bunch of machines. My mother didn’t want the responsibility so while she took off, he stayed by.

My parents divorced soon after I was out of the hospital.

Six months later, I required skull reconstruction surgery as my head was deformed.

I have O negative blood and thus needed transfusions from someone else. I can donate to my father but he can’t to me.

We moved from Springfield to Fitchburg.

At two years old we had a house fire.

I visited my mom often.

At ten my dad got in a fight. I lived with my mom for about a year and a half.

Dad got out, cleaned up and has been sober ever since. I went to stay with him for the summer and that’s when my mom took off to Colorado the first time with her then boyfriend, Steve. They had two daughters, Simone and Megan. My brother, Seth died after birth.

I lived with my father the rest of my childhood into adult hood with my mom sporadically in my life, mostly unreliable.

I was big into comics, manga, and anime as well as trading card games, and video games.

I only had a few friends growing up. Two of which from high school I still contact regularly.

I was a good student for the most part, having one D my whole life and three C’s.

I made honor roll and dean’s list.

My mom attended my high school graduation.

Shortly after college started, my mom became really unreliable again and I couldn’t take it anymore. We stopped talking for about five years, having started again just last year.

I started working at a sporting goods wholesaler six months after graduating and have been there ever since.

I suppose that’s it for now.

If you have any questions, go for it.

Regards

Brian
