About a Great Woman: Hiromi Arakawa!

So, today's take is going to be about one of the most greatest females ever, you might not know about Full-Metal Alchemist writer Hiromi Arakawa.

The reason I am writing this take is that I really like Full Metal Alchemist, the philosophy is just too great.

Introduction:

Hiromi Arakawa

"Born on May 8, 1973, in Tokachi, Hokkaidō, Japan, Arakawa was born and raised on a dairy farm with three elder sisters and a younger brother. Arakawa thought about being a manga artist "since [she] was little" and during her school years, she would often draw on textbooks. After graduating high school, she took oil painting classes once a month for seven years while working on her family's farm. During this time, she also created dōjinshi manga with her friends and drew yonkoma for a magazine." Wikipedia (1)

Now i am going to be honest here, I didn't read her Manga, I only watched Full-Metal Alchemist but that was more than enough to understand how great her work is.

Full-Metal Alchemist:

This was one of her greatest work, I can't tell how much this anime amazed me, there were some lines that are just out of this world.

lets talk some quotes, shall we?

A lesson without pain is meaningless. For you cannot gain anything without sacrificing something else in return, but once you have overcome it and made it your own...you will gain an irreplaceable fullmetal heart.

I guess by now you have seen the emotional roller-coaster and the philosophy in this anime. It is all of her writing, such an amazing writing. I really admire how her writing was and is unmatched. No matter how many anime I come across (Code Geass is different tho), still I find how well written this manga is, or to be more accurate the script for this anime is.

There you have it folks, in my opinion, her work is better than J. K. Rowling 's work (I like Harry Potter, but I think these two woman are alike), this is more complicated and really out of this world.

Thank you for telling us about Full-Metal Alchemist. I haven't watched it but I'll definitely check it out (as well as her other works).

I don't necessarily agree with the quote: "A lesson without pain is meaningless." I'm able to learn a lot from paying attention to what other people go through, rather than going through the pain myself. That's one of the problems, here on earth (as opposed to heaven or some kind of afterlife); we learn things in life but too often, the lesson is painful. I'd much rather learn without the suffering we often have to endure.

And a "heart" should be warm and soft (aka compassionate). Not tough and hard like metal (aka cold, possibly uncaring, unfeeling).

But I'll still check out her stuff. Thanks for sharing it. :)

I thank you for pointing things out like that, but the meaning is like this : a lesson learned from pain will be unforgettable
As for full metal heart : a strong heart that will come through the hardship without losing its way

My issue with JK Rowlings work is that she uses unessary details to an excesive rate. For example in book 8 she talked about the charecters missing out on homework at least 3 times. This caused her to have less energy with the fight scene with voldomort. She taught me that when writting always choose your descriptions carefully. But one of her strenghts is emtional effectiveness. I do not know how she did but her books where the first to make me cry.

FMA is without a doubt my favorite anime of all time. This is why i can't help but scoff at all these SJW types trying to be inclusive for inclusions sake.

Interesting mytake. I watched full metal alchemist long ago, and I also watched some episodes of silver spoon... I see where she got the idea of making that show since she lived on a dairy farm. Amazing and pretty woman
