Hello everyone,

It's me again.

Hope you all missed me and for those who don't know me and see me for the first time, hey.

It took me some time to return and my old account got deleted but the bright side is that here I am, fresh new and ready to continue writing.

Today I want to talk about the topic of 'Using Fake Photos Online', I've been blamed many times to be a catfish myself and the fact that I fought people with fake pictures so much that I actually made multiple accounts risking loosing my account many times for it...Is what got me actually banned from the site.

And honestly I did it in a really bad and aggresive way,that much that I started treating these people like they aren't even human beings that deserve respect no matter what they do...so I can't blame the Admins for doing what they did.

It was the right choice after all.

But I dearly thank them for letting me return and promise I won't do these things again, people can do whatever they want and as I grow up I should start accepting the deeper meaning of that.

Back to the topic now,I decided to explain in the best way possible why using fake pictures online is something you shouldn't do, of course I know that this take won't change the fact that people will do that however it always worth a try, and if I can change the facts for only one person then that's enough for me.

Why Using Fake Pictures Online Is Something You Shouldn't Do

Reason 1 : It's Illegal.

Yeap it is.

No I'm not joking.

For you it might just be a game, it might seem fun to pretend to be someone you aren't online and have a completely different appearance but it can actually get you in a lot of trouble.

You see it's how things work, it's a copyright law, whenever you use someone else's pictures you must give them credit otherwise you abuse their privileges.

Reason 2 : It's Not Good For Your Confidence.

Yeap, you do that to yourself.

By having fake pictures in your account and getting compliments and in general attention on how "you" look,might seem well ,good for your...online confidence.

And at moments I guess there might is something positive about it?

I don't know because I've never felt it myself.

But at the end of the day, you are you, not the person in the photo.

And that's okay because you are unique in your own way.

But if you use him/her as your persona here one in any other online platform then in some way you are comparing yourselves to them and in a way prefer them over yourself, both are things you shouldn't do.

You are you and you should accept who you are.

Reason 3 : It Will Come To Light At Some Point

Like Buddha once said :

"Three things cannot be long hidden the sun the moon and the truth."

As much as good you are at hiding it, as much good as you are in pretending to be this guy or girl in the picture... you aren't at the end of the day. And the truth always comes out at some point.

Someone will find something other by accident or on purpose and they will probably let people know what they did.

And believe me that people,especially online where they are able to go anonymous without fearing of the consequences, even if you didn't did anything bad,neither you tried to provoke anyone, won't treat you well after.

That's about it for today.

I still hope I didn't offend anyone with this post and that I actually proved a point without being aggressive.

Seems more to me like it's in a legal grey area. One does not necessarily have a copyright on their images. A lot of places you upload them to actually surrenders any defacto exclusivity you have in doing so by the terms and conditions you agree to.

Now if misrepresenting yourself or impersonating another individual is part of plan to deprive someone of money or property. That could be considered fraud.

A big part of this is going to depend on the laws fairly at play and jurisdiction. There are also complicating factors at play here. Suppose someone was using royalty free images or licensed images.

For that matter what about when such images are used for online ads? Are this misrepresenting what say one of there representatives looks like because they used an image of a woman wearing a headset that they've never even met? And what about federal agents using fake online profiles to catch pedophiles? Are they committing a crime in the process of preventing it? There is also the fair claim of using a nom de plume for online authoring purposes.

I had quite the opposite problem when I first became active online. It was on another platform, (which I won't mention). I used my real Cute fifteen year old face, on top of that I naively allowed my email address to be public. You can probably guess what happened next. Within a few days I started receiving some of the most vile disgusting emails of what some pervy guys wanted to see and do to my fifteen year old body! It was actually terrifying, it still scares me when I think about some of the things I received.

My Dad (my hero!) got the police involved Because I was a minor, they were trying to communicate immoral things to a minor. One of the guys was an old man like in his 70's with others down to my age at the time. Those were the ones that law enforcement was able to track through their I. P. Addresses. No one was ever arrested, they were however informed what could happen if they were caught Cyberstalking a minor child again.

My Dad monitored my every keystroke online for the next year after this. The guys that stalked me got hassled by the police. While I got scrutinized by my Dad every time I was online, I had to explain where I was, what I said... I had to change my email address, stop using a forum that I liked and basically lost all my online freedoms because I was nieve and some pervs couldn't control themselves. Which is why on every forum I frequent I use the little blonde girl avitar, she looks similar but she's not me, and I admit she's not my picture! If someone asks, I tell them why, because I'm still afraid it could happen again.

Lesson learned to other younger girls. Make sure you are very careful how you present yourself and what you allow others to see online. Be careful, there are some very strange people out there who won't hesitate to prove it to you if you give them the chance!

They are people who are insecure and having lack of confidence. Mostly, these people are ones who dislike themselves and failed on girls. They intend to seek attention as behaving like a girl and satisfy their lame egos. Some are just dedicated to do these for years that you would never imagine. It can be even more than five years and you can never find a catfish who is fat or ugly, don't get me wrong I am not judging people by their looks but those people are after for attention.

They try to satisfy their pathetic egos by the people they will never be. People who failed in their real life about having relationship with girls or their lack of confidence gives them penalty as being a guy who is dominant, charismatic or someone flirty to the girls. This pushes femine feelings inside them and by this way they are trying to seek happiness by deception and abuse.

This is how the guys think at least, girls are very minority for that and mostly if they do they just use another girl's photos, but they don't intend to behave like a guy at all.

About you, even an idiot who tried to have some kind of flirty talk with you may start calling you catfish just because you were not into him or ignored. For you not agreeing with their opinions again, they may just not feel raw about something and call you a catfish again. They may just call you a catfish again, since they were jealous of your look.

Whoever catfish are, they are just really pathetic. They know who they are whenever they look at the mirror and they cannot play this game forever, it is a game they will always lose eventually.

Its not illegal hun. The only way its illegal is if you're using a Copyright picture. Otherwise its not illegal. The rest of your information its somewhat true. It's definitely bad for you to be a catfish.

Yeah, no, you can find a good looking stranger from across the world, take their pictures, register as a profile here, give yourself some random ordinary name, and start chatting with people. Get someone really horny, get them to send you nudes. Save those nudes and jack off to them. When you get tired, or get close to being caught, just delete the profile leaving no trace. Then find another stranger from across the world and repeat the process
