The Possibility Of Sequential Hermaphroditism In Humans

Some species exhibit sequential hermaphroditism. In these species, such as many species of coral reef fishes, sex change is a normal anatomical process. Clownfish, wrasses, moray eels, gobies and other fish species are known to change sex, including reproductive functions.

So as a curious young adult I wonder would we as humans one day be able to sequence this into our DNA or as it is more scientifically known deoxyribonucleic acid.

Most humans are loved by one another in one way or another. However, there is One! very unappreciated group which is still struggling along side other minorities to be heard... For those who known which group, Kudos to you. For those that are still wondering, I am of course talking about the Trans community.

I am theorizing the possibility of sequencing this sequential hermaphroditism into our DNA so that my brothers and sister in the trans community and the curious will be able to be who they are internally and externally

The cause of this take is due to what I had gone through as a child.

When you are born, doctors just arbitrarily assume your gender based off your biological sex. So in my case I was A. M. A. B. or Assigned Male At Birth. The Genderbread Person

So, in my case. I had to endure ridicule, name calling, gender dysphoria and lots more but the most basic thing that I missed is grooming, beauty and make-up tips from my mum. And even she also hated the other me, so after countless assessments, appointments, this doctor and that doctor I realise she is not going to accept me despite of her parental claim of ( I will love you, no matter who you are or what you become).

So it has reached this point in my life, that I now have 2 accounts for nearly everything. One for my male alt that I show the world, the other for my secret true self which also has a fair amount of people and comments of me that causes me gender euphoria and shyness despite me being pre-op.

I am living life on the edge of the precipice, if not for a certain group of like minded and supportive people on ( Discord an online chat App) I think I would have ceased to exist on this world

This doesn't happen in humans due to the human method of sexual determination: the xx and xy. Sequential hermaphrodites don't have chromosomal sex determination. Hope this helps.

(*Sigh* I know), but just imagine. Girls like me who are born I the wrong body will be able to change to the correct gender even our sexual organs will change too... Just think, the animals that have sequential hermaphroditism into their DNA have a specific trigger that causes them to change. if we can somehow harness that ability...
Which trans-girl/woman or trans-man would not want to have the chance and choice to be who they truly are?
if we can just choose to be free of prejudice and judgement who would not want that?

Choice never a factor in nature. I'm not trying to be rude but I think you are being a little more fantastical than scientific. In my experience with biology, I have learned that being a human is much more important than being a guy or a girl and thus I support free expression. I just hope you can understand that you might not be fully understanding the nature of what happens in other organisms.

It is not possible as it only lead to further complications in chemical balance in the brain and possible DNA mutation. Transgender are not normal according most Psychiatric associations around the world and suffer from Gender dysphoria and you can deny it all you want. Transgenders have higher rate of suicidal tendencies, eating disorder, anxiety, depression and social isolation.

Gender dysphoria is not the same as gender nonconformity, which refers to behaviors not matching the gender norms or stereotypes of the gender assigned at birth.

Though sequential hermaphroditism is different, it doesn't change the issue much. You bring up the trans community, who are by and large not even pseudo-hermaphrodites, but almost always fully XY & XX. And you bring up species that are so far removed from human that it's comical.

My heart and compassion does go out to you and your situation. I myself have dealt with gender dysphoria years ago. But let's think about the unfortunate people all over the world. People are starving to death, are slaves, suffer horrible diseases, have missing limbs, are rotting in tiny jail cells, are tortured, are living in mud pits having nothing, etc. Don't you think our money should be used to help such people, instead of spending it on body modification and theoretical research which may amount to nothing?

One is for my birth identity which the doctor assumed by looking at my genital and assigned me AMAB.
For Girls ask Guys I only have one which is this account thus this My Take is in " pink anon"

Logically I still need to live out my male life and earn money for my PRESUMED gender which was based off my Biological Sex. So that I can earn money for my transition.

Thus by logical deduction I still need my PRESUMED male account to keep me alive so that I can one day stop leading this kind of double life and always having to put on the façade of male stoicism and manly-ness.
