Feel Bad about Party Game? Underwear Bet?

Last weekend I went to one last college party of the year. To make a long story short, a few friends had decided to play a game and they asked me to judge who won the last round. It was 3 guys against 3 girls (all 19-21 years old).

Well they had made a bet that whichever team won...the other team would have to spend the rest of the party in just their underwear.

Honestly it was close, but the guys won. The thing is, I ruled that the girls won because there was no way I was going to make the girls strip to their underwear and walk around everyone like that for the rest of the party.

So the guys stripped down to their boxer-briefs and obviously the girls loved it.

I feel kind of bad that I lied about who won...but I felt it was the right thing to do. It's one thing to have guys in boxers, but there is no way I could have made some 19/20 year old girls strip and walk around a party in underwear.

What do you think? Did I do the right thing? What would you have done?

you lied, thats wrong. but then again, no one knew. so how is that lying? you were simply the judge. if anything, you lied to yourself.
and these girls played it knowing they could lose. so they probably dont mind striping down to underwear :/

Aw thanks! I just think it was better to have the guys strip down to their boxer-briefs instead. That way the girls keep their clothes on and don't get harassed or feel embarrassed. It's just different having a girl in underwear.

We need more guys like you! I completely agree with what you did. Having the girls in their underwear at a college party would have gotten them harassed and hassled. It's totally different to have guys walking around in boxer-briefs...plus I'm sure the girls at the part enjoyed the view. :)

You should have upheld the integrity of the game. That was your role as the official judge. You would have had no choice but to demand that the girls take their pants off. They played, they lost, they knew the rules.
