Do guys care about a girl's popularity?

I'm 16 and i'm kind of "anti-social" i mean i'm not exactly what you call popular at school. I have 3 to 4 friends that i hang out with during lunch. But i was wondering if a guy cares about a girl's social life? Like does it make a girl more attractive if she is popular?

I know girls that were "anti-social" and yet would open up when talking to them and that would make me feel special. brains and looks were there, just that they wouldn't talk much. So it was warming me inside seeing that they trust me enough to open up.
you have 3-4 friends is what most of us do have. I talk to others, but i don't consider them my friends. I DON'T WANT TO ! I'm more about quality than quantity, so i refuse to call everyone my friend. It's a trust thing.
And don't compare yourself with social butterflies because these people are a special kind and they work differently.
It depends on why the girl is popular though and what others think of when they say popular. If she's popular for shagging the whole football team, then no guy would consider her for a relationship. Just for fooling around maybe.
Being smart, down to earth, sociable, kind and all the other right reasons makes a girl popular and attractive at the same time. At least in my book. A girl can be just as attractive without being popular.
The fact that you are less sociable might make you less popular, but it doesn't make you less attractive as long as you have other qualities (i listed some above)

if they really are one of the "cool kids" then they won't give a shit about popularity. if they're "posers" then they will care about popularity.

Maybe in high school they care cause everyone tends to stick with their groups which is dumb but that's the way things are in high school. But once you leave high school, it doesn't matter.
