Do boys date just to have sex?

i can't speak for all men but i have the opposite problem... i want to start with a few nights of cuddling and go from there... but i have a hard time finding someone that doesn't want to have sex early and then maybe get to know me on an emotionally affectionate level... maybe its because of the common belief that all men are after is sex... but it makes me look like im being deceptive for sex when im not... ugh

more like we only told a few of our closest friends who helped us spend time with each other... we had to go for "walks" to get away from my parents... it was weird tho. we talked a lot about everything. then it got awkward when he started saying how he wanted to marry me ( i was like 12 at the time and a little weirded out) then he changed his mind and i found out he had been cheating on me! with a red head! ik my light brown hair isn't the most attractive but he made it seem like it was! that's why he's a jerk
