I honestly see nothing wrong with it. It's kinda cute if someone has a "bae" it's adorable if somebody has someone that they are so close to and committed to that they call "bae" now ba is horrible reminds me of a sheep but bae is cute. But that's just my opinion :)

I used to be bothered by cray cray lol but now I say it jokingly sometimes lol for instance "shes cray cray" lol for crazy but ya honestly I don't have a problem with the word "bae" and if some guy who liked me and was committed to me called me that I'd be in love lol

I do say ba (bah) though, usually when I see someone butcher the English language (Native English speakers, I mean).

Really though, I don't use it or say it, but it doesn't really "bother" me when others use it either.

I hated it too. I started off using it sarcastically and it grew on me. But I still never call a bf or love interest bae. I use it comically to refer to cute ass people that I don't know. I have a subway bae who makes my subs all the time lol I have a directv bae who came and fixed my dish after the rain. I also have a gas station bae who works at the BP lol

I don't say "baby" unless I'm referring to an actually baby and I don't use any of those variations, but I don't mind other people saying it. There isn't going to be a unanimous decision for to agree to stop saying "bae" so all you can do is hope it goes away. If you usee "baby" and "babe" I don't understand getting bent out of shape over "bae".

When Americans first started using it, it didn't mean "before anyone else", it really was short for babe or baby.
