Are people backing away from LOL and replacing it with ha ha or tee hee?

Some people make fun of it or even pronounce it like it's an actual word! I think that, and the ability to just use an emoji, instead, is what's causing them not to use it as much, anymore. I prefer LOL than an emoji because, most often, I can't even SEE what the emoji is because they're so damn small!! What's the point of using them if you need a microscope to decipher them?
