Anyone really surprised why hooters is going down?

All it is, is food served by a waitress in tight tank tops and tight shorts. It’s not family oriented. Granted it’s nice eye candy but that’s it. A successful restaurant would be family friendly I’d feel.

Hooters is going down, for the same reason a lot of prime real estate businesses are.

It's little to do with the waitresses, and more to do with high running costs and people being less able to afford their menu.

I have seen plenty of families in there. I think the problem is the service. They tend to be rather slow; for instance I have been in there with 5 other tables and 3 waitresses (not including the bartender) and it took 30 minutes for me to get some ketchup.

Hooters has great “Daytona “ chicken wings but other than that I’ve never been impressed

Their food is pretty good, but WAY overpriced. The uniforms are far less revealing than earlier in Hooter history. One of my exes was a Hooter girl, she made tall $$$$

Hooters is family friendly. I see families in there all the time with their children. The waitresses play hopscotch and hula hoop with the kids. They are also dressed appropriately unlike the women at Twin Peaks who are dressed in lingerie.

Again, compare Hooters to Twin Peaks. Too many people like to put down Hooters when they are simply trying to run a business that is family orientated and friendly towards children. They also sponsor youth sports among other good things they do for their communities. You want bad. Strip Clubs are bad places.
