White people, would you want to see a Korean drama dubbed in English?

Like one of those dramas that features the past that includes a Kingdom and the struggle commoners face? And do you also like the dramas that feature stories in our time?

I find the story lines of these dramas to be creative, touching and cool sometimes. If only they were dubbed in English so that the majority of the world can see? But do you feel the same way? There are not a lot of Asian leading roles in hollywood. But these Korean dramas prove that Asians can be creative and cool.

No. What Koreans see as a good story, is totally different from what us White hollywood lovers see as epic.

I like Korean dramas but I just want to see the original with the subtitles.

Movies? I liked "The Man from Nowhere", but saw several others that I didn't care for.

Hard to judge overall. Most Hollywood movies have horrible plots, and I don't see the same number of foreign films for an accurate comparison.

With Chinese movies (mainland), I get the sense that they don't put enough emphasis on character or originality.

Am afraid I haven't seen any. There is a Vietnamese channel here with dubbed shows, but if I had to guess I would guess they are Chinese. No subtitles, unfortunately.

Maybe, I'll have to try streaming one later. I think anything dubbed in English would have a wider audience. I like hearing Korean, but don't understand it. The truth is, in general, it is less relaxing to read subtitles and that they alienate old people too.

I do remember many of them coming on TV at some point, but can't remember if I watched any of them. Anyway I'm interested in seeing what they're like, but not dubbed, never dubbed...
