If you've flushed your underwear/socks/slippers down the toilet is it possible to retrieve them back? If yes how? Have you ever done it?

My mother accidentally flushed an underwear down, but it clogged the toilet so she eventually got it out. It was awkward. I think she threw it out afterwards, though.

Either stuck in the waste pipe or on the way to your septic tank if you live in the country. If you live in the city, then they are floating or sank in the sewers.
