Would you be mad if your boyfriend doesn't show you off on social media?

He's posted one picture of us, but he didn't put a cute caption or even mention my name or that I was his girlfriend. I see other guys writing sweet captions or paragraphs about their girlfriends and it makes me wonder why my boyfriend won't do that same.
He still has his exes or girls that he's been involved with on social media and is still in contact with them. Do you think that could be the reason why?

No. I don't want any guy to "show me off" on social media. In fact, I don't want my relationship on social media at all and I also don't compare my relationship to others. In all honesty, when I see couples all over each other on social media, it just makes it seem like it's fake and they're just trying to prove something to other people. I just don't see any point in displaying my relationship to strangers or people I'm not even close with online.

Anyway, as for your individual situation, it could be for a number of reasons. Maybe he feels the same way I do about it. Or, maybe it is because of his exes, who knows. If it bothers you that much though then you should talk to him about it and see what's going on.

I would HAPPY if he doesn't show me off! I don't want to feel like I'm a trophy or something he has sickening pride for and I don't want to feel like he's bragging about me. I don't want to have pictures of us all over the internet.

If you're so worried about your boyfriend not showing you off, tell him. If you're so worried about his ex girlfriends, tell him. It's not a big deal.

My boyfriend hardly ever uses social media and I really don't care.

He shows me off IRL to his friends and our FB friend lists consists of people we know, rather than strangers, so it would be a bit redundant.

Depends. He doesn't need to show me off, but if he's behaving as of I don't exist then I'd have a problem with that. There's no need to plaster pictures everywhere, but also don't act like you're single.

I can't remember the last time i posted a new pic on social media...(that wasn't GaG) lol and i only have one anyway... stupid Facebook. I don't even go on it.
