Why does my bus driver creep me out and what can I do?

So I have to still ride the bus because I'm still in Middle School and my parents can't drive me. I like the bus just fine, except my driver creeps me out. He's not a bad guy, but I don't know. He owns a cafe in town that's doing really well and is usually jam packed and they have a nice house so I have no idea why he is driving a bus. I first started getting creeped out by him when this happened-me and the driver were talking. There's this kid on the bus who liked me at the time. He asked me why they weren't on and I told him that he and his sister go to their dad's house and blah blah blah. Then he said-oh by the way I think he likes you.
He knew this how? Because he heard the boy and my friend talking about how he had a crush on me. No one told my driver but he just listened in on their conversation! I'm sorry but in my opinion that's just a little weird. Especially considering my last bus driver who was way younger than him couldn't hear us at all because the bus was so loud. Another weird thing that happened was when I was getting off the bus I was sitting right behind him. I put my hand on the front part of my seat to get up and he touched my hand for no reason and asked if he scared me. I told him yeah and then got off the bus. Yeah he scared me in a different way then he thought though that's for sure. Anyways he's just really creepy to me and I think I'm going to be stuck with him for a few more years. Any advice?

I think he's just being nice... don't worry about it... and some guys love buses and trucks, i used to talk to a guy who is bus drivrer and he collects small models of particular trucks and takes photos of all the buses he comes across as a photo collection, he probs jsut likes driving buses, or he's doing it for a little extra money, who knows how much he gets paid running his café, could be a lot less than people think.

I honestly don't think it is weird that he overheard those two boys talking about you. From the rest of what you have been explaining, I don't think he is creepy. But hey, how would I know when I have never even met the guy. If you get weird vibes from him, sit in the back.

Only one solution: walk to school, using another way than the bus. When you see the bus, hide in bushes.

Ten minutes by car would be about an hour walking: that's very healthy.

Tell your parents and school administrators and police if needed and have your parents pull you from the bus long as he is driving.

more often then not they will just move the driver to another route.

Many times not all bus drivers are bad but play musical buses just moving drivers once parents in one area complain too much... They can get away with about anything anymore especially now with the shortage of them

Well he can't exactly close his ears yk. He has to be alert so... he hears everythingeverything. If you put your hand in front of you that'd mean YOU put your hand in his seat. Your fault. Calm down... you're overreacting

I do sit farther back but my friend always tell me to sit there and I don't really have an excuse not to sit there... but thanks
