How to convince my parents to let me play rugby?

I can't cycle there, they don't want to drive me because the rugby club is too far from where I live and the trainings start too late, they think it's too expensive, they think it's too rough and thus I will break or lose teeth or get injured, etc.

Basically I'm out of ideas on how to convince them. Any help would be highly appreciated.

Can't you get someone to drive you? Or public transportation?

The only injury I've gotten was shoulder pain, but other than that as long as you excecute the techniques shown, you should be fine.

i'm in my ninth season in rugby , I've not lost any teeth broken any bones , the worst injury I've had was some muscle pain.
