Genes would seemingly figure into almost all aspects of beauty in a natural sense of the word, where the beautiful face of a woman is comprised of inherited genes from her parents, and a man's perception of beauty (a feminine facial structure and body) as a heterosexual is also inherited.

But once you factor in culture and material, beauty changes. The easiest cross culture comparison would be Japan and the United States. Their perception of beauty in both males and females is far different than in the states. That isn't genetic, that difference is culturally and materially driven.

You have to separate the two in order to get a clear answer. Cultural and materially driven beauty is NOT genetic. Natural beauty is genetic.

Of course it is, everything about us is in our genes, like it or not... it's just how the genes line up that makes the difference,
we join certain bulls to certain cows to get the benefits of each other's traits.. generally you get what you expect/ want, some you go wtf...

I think my big sister has it, big time. Guys have always prefered her to me. My mom was pretty hot when she was younger. But I think the beauty gene skipped me. Though people tell me I look like my mom, I don't see it.

Firstly, everyone knows "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". So if you perceive parent A and parent B are both attractive. Then more than likley child C will grow up to be stud. You enharent traits from both parents so it seems logical. However I know people who I think are good-looking and there parents look like mutants. Vise versa. Basically yes kinda with a side of no gurantee.

Well, you get your genes from your parents, so it just depends on the combination you get.
Usually hot makes hot and ugly makes ugly. The way the parent's traits mix can can cause the child to be much more or much less attractive than the parents.
