be honest. do you think you can honestly get that guy or girl you've had your eyes on for the past 2 weeks? are they out of your league?

The guy I'm really interested in is a grade below me and not very popular at all, he's super shy and I've never seen him really express much emotion even around his friends but I think that's what has attracted me to him so much. He seems like the strong silent type who doesn't like being the center of attention and from the very little I've seen of him he is the type of low key guy I really like. Never seen him even talking with a girl before except for one who's a family friends so I know for a fact I don't have much competition, but this all makes it super hard for me to approach him. I know he probably won't approach me because although I believe he's noticed me before I can tell he's extremely shy, and I feel so apprehensive about approaching him because I'm a bit shy too. We have nothing except a club in common and have no similar friends because he's not very popular and I'm more in with the popular group so I don't have much to approach him over. I have no idea how to approach someone because I always just let people approach me. I know if I actually worked up the nerve and approached him he would be interested in me but it's really hard.

Hmm.. the guy I most recently liked (like? ) is definitely out of my league in terms of attractiveness. At least in my opinion. Jesus H Christ he's gorgeous.

As far as chances go- I guess I had a good one, we had a "fling" over the summer, apparently he liked me but now he doesn't. I guess. I honestly have no idea. Its a long stupid story.

i think its a bit stupid to say that someone is out of someone's league... & if a guy reject a girl or a girl rejects a guy for that reason... i'd just say they need to grow up.

I don't believe in league systems.

This is the fallacy of people with low self esteems who put women and men on pedestals. No woman is out of my league, no matter who she is or where she is. She may not be interested in me, she may not be attracted to me, that's fine, but she is no superior to me and I am not inferior to her, we are equals.

When you grasp this concept is when you can approach any woman and declare your interest with problems.

Well, when I had one, I don't think he was out of my league or whatever. I asked him if he wanted to hang out, he had a girlfriend. No problem, I agreed to date this other guy. Then the crush guy 3 months later asks me out after he broke up with his girlfriend.

To other guys, I think of myself as higher on the scale than them (Probably not to girls, I'm the "rocker" type guy with longish curly hair etc.) but when I see a girl I like my confidence droops to an all time low.

my frist crush was. but it was whatever she was a really good friend anyways. but when i say she's gorgeous, that was an understatement. she was like a cross between jessica alba and i think maybe emma watson.

yeah, we are both freshmen I am quiet and shy and kinda uncomfortable around boys.  He is comfortable with eveyone and is confident (not arrogant) and is really popular.
